A study published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information took nine different compounds, and compared the absorption rates between oral ingestion  and trans-dermal absorption. Chapped Hands

Winter can be painful for people with dry skin. I never suffered like many...but my hands used to crack at the knuckles.  That was painful! I used to use this camphor cream on my hands.  It worked...but it smelled terrible!
